DALLAS, Oct. 10, 2024 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — Women in CyberSecurity (WiCyS) announced that Call for Presenters (CFP) for the WiCyS 2025 Conference is now open. The event will take place in Dallas, Texas, from April 2-5, 2025, at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, with a virtual option available from April 9-10, 2025. WiCyS is seeking participants to share their cybersecurity expertise and inspire women in the field.

As the premier event dedicated to advancing women in cybersecurity, the conference offers contributors from around the world the chance to showcase their skills and insights. Their participation helps bridge the cybersecurity workforce gap while encouraging more women and underrepresented groups to pursue and advance in the industry.

For the first time, WiCyS 2025 will include an additional day of pre-conference workshops, beginning on Wednesday, April 2. This will be followed by a full schedule of sessions, panels, and workshops through Saturday, April 5, covering a wide range of cybersecurity topics and providing valuable learning opportunities for all attendees.

“Over the last decade, the WiCyS conference has been showcasing the wealth of knowledge, experiences, and best practices from a broad range of talented individuals and organizations across the cybersecurity industry. We are thrilled to expand the WiCyS 2025 conference to an additional day, offering even more opportunities for our diverse community to connect, learn, and grow in the cybersecurity field,” said Dr. Ambareen Siraj, WiCyS founder and program chair. “The stage at the WiCyS conference embraces the strength of diversity, celebrating the achievements of outstanding female professionals who contribute to the global cybersecurity workforce.”
