Empowering Women in Cybersecurity series aims to enable women to grow into senior leadership roles in cybersecurity. This series, a partnership between WiCyS Chicago Affiliate and the Chicago CISO of The Year (COTY) program, will begin on November 15, 2023, at the Morningstar office at 22 W. Washington Street.

The November 15th kickoff event will cover “Securing Tomorrow: Insights from Women & Allies in Cybersecurity Leadership”. We have invited a number of Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) who have built cyber teams over the years to speak about local efforts to impact the cybersecurity leadership of the future. The hour-long panel discussion will begin at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner and networking.

We encourage WiCyS members to register AND to bring their mentors! We want to involve the cybersecurity leaders of the future in Chicago and only by partnering with the allies, managers, and mentors can we grow together. If you are a student, bring your professors or university cybersecurity program leads so they can learn from CISOs how to build a cybersecurity workforce.
